Glutathione Interactions

Glutathione has interactions with the following medications and supplements:

  • Chemotherapy (Cisplatin, Cyclophosphamide)
People undergoing chemotherapy using medications such as cisplatin and cyclophosphamide, may benefit from taking glutathione supplements, as research shows the glutathione can reduce many of the toxicity symptoms (and their severity) associated with taking these medications.
  • Paracetemol
People who regularly take paracetemol may benefit from also taking glutathione supplements too, as the glutathione can reduce much of the toxicity symptoms (and severity) associated with taking paracetemol long term by helping to detoxify them from the liver and preventing damage to the liver.
