Inositol RDI

There is only a general recommended daily intake of inositol for adults:

  • Recommended Daily Intake: 30mg
    Most people will get enough inositol from their dietary intake and the body will usually create enough inositol if there is a lack in the diet.

There is no general or otherwise recommended daily intake for children, infants or babies, who should get all their inositol requirements from their diet (or their mother's milk, or formula).

Tolerable Upper Limit

There is only a general tolerable upper limit levels of inositol for adults:

  • Tolerable Upper Limit: 600-3000mg
    Most people will get enough inositol from their dietary intake and the body will usually create enough inositol if there is a lack in the diet.

There is no general or otherwise tolerable upper limit for children, infants or babies, who should get all their inositol requirements from their diet (or their mother's milk, or formula).
